(1) An overview of the model schedule in a normal year

«Master Course» Schedule for Entrance Exam in Summer Season (*1)

1) We hold briefing sessions for admission on July in every year
2) You must apply in the end of August
3) Entrance exam is held in the middle of September
4) We announce test result in the end of September

All the above sessions and examination are held at GSCC Umeda-satellite.

«Master Course» Schedule for Entrance Exam in Winter Season (*1)

1) We hold briefing sessions for admission on December in every year
2) You must apply in the beginning or middle of January
3) Entrance exam is held in the beginning of February
4) We announce test result in middle of February

All the above sessions and examination are held at GSCC Umeda-satellite.

(2) The features of GSCC

Students can graduate from GSCC with master degrees only by commuting 2 weekdays at night and Saturday in a week in almost all fields (6 fields except one 'Information Systems Innovation')

GSCC prepare study timetables for busy working people to get through with credit by commuting 2 weekdays at night and Saturday in a week at Umeda Satellite, in Urban Business / Urban Policy course and one field of Urban Information Study Course (Knowledge Information Infrastructure).

Information Systems Innovation study field in Urban Information Study Course offer a series of lectures in Sugimoto Campus weekday daytime and Umeda Satellite at night and Saturday.

GSCC's Workshops are the unique education system managed by the proper professors to invite leading person to provide future oriented information's in various fields. Workshop lecturer teaches in the first hour of Workshop day, discussion time followed in the next hours.

Diverse style of admissions are prepared for Master Course

(1A) Master Course Examination for working person: working career more than about 3 years
(1B) Master Course Examination for non working person: working career less than about 3 years, undergraduate students with graduation letter, foreign students

(3) Qualifications of candidacy for an exam

Q1) Those who graduated from a university or will graduated from a university until next march (Japanese educational year end). (this is the most ordinary condition)

(other very special conditions are as follows)

Q2) Those who was awarded bachelor degree from NIAD(National Institution for Academic Degrees) or will be awarded bachelor degree from NIAD(National Institution for Academic Degrees) until next march (Japanese educational year end).
Q3) For all except Japanese, Those who completed 16 years school education or will complete 16 years school education until next march (Japanese educational year end).
Q4) Those who was designated by the Minister of Education based on the 1953 notification No.5 of Ministry of Education.
Q5) Those who graduated from or will graduated from a university until next march (Japanese educational year end) special courses of professional training college that is designated excluded by the Minister of Education.
Q6) Those who get certified or will get certified that he or she has the ability more than the graduator of ordinary university until next march (Japanese educational year end). In this case you must pass though the pre-examination of applicants' equivalent qualification before you apply, see the application guidebook for further information.

(4) Documents required in each admission category

(1A) Master Course Examination for working person: working career more than about 3 years

1) application form, 2) certificate of graduation / graduation prospect / equivalent qualification(in case of Q6 above), 3) statement of purpose and career plan, 4) study plan, 5) explanation on work experience, 6) background materials (optional), 7) return-mail envelope and 8) fee for official examination

(1B) Master Course Examination for non working person: working career less than about 3 years, undergraduate students with graduation letter, foreign students

1) application form, 2) certificate of graduation / graduation prospect / equivalent qualification(in case of Q6 above), 3) academic transcript, 4) statement of purpose and career plan, 5) study plan, 6) study report or explanation on work experience, 7) background materials (optional), 8) return-mail envelope and 9) fee for official examination

You can get directly at GSCC office in Umeda-satellite of Sugimoto-campus.
